Weekly Themes
June 15 | Water Science: Experiment and explore with water! We'll have several different stations to try, including floating and sinking, boat building, color, and more.
June 22 | Messy Art: Get ready for splatter painting! Wear old clothes and create a new masterpiece.
June 29 | Whales: Learn about these giants of the ocean with fun facts and activities. How long is a blue whale? How does blubber keep whales warm in cold ocean water? How long can a whale hold its breath?
July 6 | LEGO Fun: Participate in challenges separately and as a group using the library's LEGO collection.
July 13 | Sharks: It's Shark Week at Stark Library, and we'll be finding out about everyone's favorite ocean predators with games and activities.
July 20 | Nature Walk at Fry Family Park: Meet at the Fry Family Park Visitor's Center and take a nature walk. Park staff will tell us all about the animal habitats we see.
July 27 | Octopuses: These smart and mysterious creatures will give us plenty to talk about. Plus, work together to create a giant paper-chain octopus to decorate the library!
