Meet Author Jin Stearns

Sponsored by the Perry Sippo Friends of the Library

Jin Stearns, author of Lost Seoul, will speak about his life story of being lost in a train station in Seoul, South Korea at the age of 6. Books available for purchase.

Author Jin Stearns was born in Korea. At the age of six he was separated from his family, lost at a train station in Seoul, South Korea. He was picked up by a stranger and placed into an orphanage. At age 10 he found out that he had been adopted and was going to America...the Land of Opportunity. At the time, he did not speak English and had no reading ability, not even the basic alphabet. What was even more difficult was that his new family could not speak or write Korean. Join us and be inspired by Jin's remarkable story.

Sponsored by the Perry Sippo FOL.  Books will be available for purchase.
